So this week I’m preparing to go to my 20th class reunion. I’ve been helping plan it since February and it is exciting to see everything come together. I can’t wait to see everyone and to catch up with a real conversation and not just quick snippets from Facebook.
But in the most of all the excitement, we are still preparing to move. This is both an exciting and frustrating time for all of us.
Our family is also preparing for the big move. Our closing date was moved up a week (which we are excited about), and we are into the final countdown. In t-10ish days we will be signing papers and be the proud owners of a lovely new home.
That, of course, is just the beginning g of the crazy that will take place over the next few weeks. We have already packed up a lot of things, but now we have left the stuff we have been using or need. This is crunch time.
Next week Keith starts his new job, I have training and a website due for a class, and then there is the packing.
Have I said how much I hate moving. It is detestable, and I am not looking forward to any of it, so I’m going to look at hiring a moving company to do it for me.
We don’t have time or enough able bodied to really get it done right, so I think it will be worth every penny to hire someone else to do it for us.
I would love to here everyone’s thoughts on moving. Good, bad, or ugly, I love to get ideas from others. Drop a line in the comments and let me know about your moving experiences.
Talk to you next week! See ya.
