This last month has been over the top crazy for our family. If you have not read the last few weeks, you have missed out on the fact that we are moving because my husband will have a new job for the next school year. This amazing opportunity for our family, but it has caused the craziness to be amped up to another level.
In the midst of all of this, I am finishing up this semester’s classes and getting ready to start my summer courses. While I love learning and my classes I’m taking, it can be overwhelming at times because when I think about my to do list it is crazy long and I try to imagine when I will have time to get everything done.
Most of you know that I work two jobs (not including this blog), have three kids, a dog, and a wonderful husband that helps me keep everything together, but that does not mean that I get to pass over my responsibilities. I love being a mom. Sometimes it feels like it takes a back burner when I’m busy with everything else, but my kids are always first for me.
So back to the to do list. Like I said it is overwhelming and never ending. We are still trying to get the house ready to put on the market. This weekend while the boys are off doing scout stuff, the girls and I are going to be packing things up to declutter. This seems to be the biggest problem.
The kids’ rooms are where we need to declutter the most, and I want to get most of this done this weekend. So here is my to do list for the weekend:
- Declutter the kids’ bedrroms
- Pack up the cabinets in the kitchen of stuff we don’t need
- Declutter the master bedroom
- Pack up extra toys
- Take everything to the storage unit
- Finish homework
- Clean out the panrty
- Clean out the cabinets in the bathrooms
While this may not seem like a huge list, I’m sure that it is going to take me most of the day on Saturday and even some of Sunday to finish most of it. I’m hoping by Sunday evening everything is wrapped up and I can relax a little. Fingers crossed.
I hope everyone will have a great week, and make sure you come back next week to see what crazy has happened this next week. My brother and his wife are expecting a new bundle of joy, so hopefully I will be gushing about my new niece.
